Mutton Tehari

What materials are needed?
To marinate the meat Minced beef - 1 kg
(can be done with beef)
Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Whipped curd - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder- 1 teaspoon
Salt- Quantity of Jaiphal
Jayitri Bata- 1 teaspoon
garam masala powder- 1 teaspoon chopped onion- 1 cup
mustard oil- 1 cup
Tehari Basmati rice or Polava rice will be required for cooking- Half kg whole garam masala (Bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, pepper)- 2 each ghee- 2 tbsp green chilies- 5/6 coriander leaves and bay leaves
for garnish How to make Mutton Tehari?
1) To marinate the meat, first mix the onion and all the spices well in the curd. Mustard oil should also be added to the masala and meat mixture. Then the masala coating will be good. Marinate in this way for thirty minutes.
2) Now put the marinated muttons in a big pan and fry it very well. Use hot water while grinding the meat.
3) On the other hand add ghee in another pan. Stir in cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, pepper one by one.
4) Now water and salt should be given in quantity with Basmati or Polao rice. 1.5 cups of water should be given for 1 cup of rice. Mutton gravy contains some water, so water content may be less or more.
5) When the rice is almost cooked after draining the water, add the minced meat. Now simmer the Tehari for 20 minutes on low heat.
6) Spread green chillies and ghee on the last. Be sure to check that the mutton is cooked well. Since the meat for Tehari is minced very finely, the meat will get soft very quickly. The amount of ingredients mentioned here is perfect for 4/5 people. Many people use boiled water or saffron. You can add them if you want. Now serve hot mutton Tehari with onion and coriander leaves!
